The author,(John Boyne), in theback page of the book , “The boy in the Striped Pyjamas”, suggest is better to maintain the surprise of the book, not to count which is the argument, for that reason, from here, to continue reading is your desision. (Excepting that you're Maria, that you will have to read it, if you want to correct it to me xD)

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, deals with a as important subject as painful, as Holocaust.
The book is narrated in first person, by a boy of 9 years. Bruno is the son of a Nazi commander who is destined to direct the concentration camp of Auschwitz.

The children lived a calm life, without preoccupations, in Berlin, and when destine to his father, march to live with his family next to the wire fence of the concentration camp.While it lives there, to the distant spot, it seems to see to him young men and with striped pyjamas.


The boredom that supposes to him to live there, without friends, nor anything that to do, urges to him to go and search adventures and maybe some friend, and he see so many children the other side, together, and feels envies (yes, he have envies of persons in a concentration camp....)
After some days living there, going in search of somebody to that to know, it finds to Shmuel, a boy of his age. Between them, (that they was born the same day), it creates relation of friendship, which both needed, that takes to finish to them together in the same aside of wire fence, I will not say in which.


It has seemed me a great book, narrated from the point of view of a boy, gives a special touch him, of naivete. I believe that next I will read, Anne Frank's diary.

Europe comite

We went to Denmark at the beginning of May. The reason was the Europe comite that this year the subject was “Eurobeat”. Each school prepared a performance related to “Eurobeat”, and a day was the event. Our performance was the best (H), along with the "La Gavina". When we arrived we were each one with our families. On the next day we saw everybody in the school (Rosenvagskolen) and we made activities that had prepared to us. The second day we returned to go to the school but this day were'nt activities.

The third day we represented our performances each school.Saturday many of us we went in the morning to the atractions park, with "our danish". In the afternoons each one went away with "his danish" and stayed with his friends.Somebody had more luck than others and could stay with more people of my class.For example, Cristina and me were along xD.

But anyway it was a very very funny time!

Denmark

Denmark is a country that is in the north of Europe.

A country enough developed economic and socially.

Denmark believes in the equality of sexes and it has been fought much for that reason. The women work and have almost always such benefits that the men. The average age of the enter the universities of Denmark is of 26 years.

The Danish are very hospitable people, always are worried in case you are to taste, if you're funny, if there are been happy…

Also they are very precise in all her appointments. There to arrive behind later at the places is'nt correct.

The food timetable, by my experience were a little strange.

We never ate to the same hour, and sometimes we did'nt eat… although what one says of Denmark it's that they are quite strict with the timetable but...I don't know.

It was created from the necessity to use the space of iPod.

Sahara

The Sahara was a Spanish colony. Spain resigns to have that colony, and it is committed to respect the autonomy and the independence of the Saharauis. Soon after, Morocco decide to invade that territory because they say that it belongs to them. The occupation took place under the name of “the Green March”. Saharauis was expelled from their earth, in spite of facing the army of Morocco. Because of that conflict a displacement of the Saharaui population takes place towards fields of refugees. Was Algeria coverall that welcomed to them and supported them. From there, the representatives of saharauis, the Polisario Front, have dedicated themselves to demand in all the international organisms and Spain in particular that recognize to them as independent country and gives back their earth to them. Now they request a Referendum to vote the independence of the country, but Morocco refuse and meanwhile the town saharaui lives on the aid and international charity in campings in the middle of the desert.

Fallas

My school's "falla"

The "fallas" are a very typical Valencian celebration. Single it is celebrated throughout the Valencian Community and in dates 16, 17, 18 and 19 of March (Saint Jose day's). It consists of four days of much celebration in the Falleros country places, "mascletás", firecrackers, but mainly celebration. Personally I like the "fallas" by the celebration that there is in Valencia during these days. They give prizes to the "fallas" that better are done, although normally they occur* it to the fault that more money has been spent. There are greater falleras of each fault, thing that to my seems to me a stupidity, because it is a very peculiar way to spend the money in a thing that the last day of faults is going away to burn…

It's the day of "plantà", the day that mounts the fault, the day of "cridà", when the greater fallera of Valencia (the one of the "falla" of the city council), says to the Valencians that they are united to the celebrations of faults, "nit del foc", when they do a great “castle” and the night of “cremà” when they burn the "falla".

The life of a group of heroin addicts, in the suburbs of Edimburgo, and displays the history of Mark and its friends to us. The film relates the desintegration. Greenhouse effect

Is called Greenhouse effect to the absorption, on the part of the atmosphere, of infrared rays preventing that escape to the deep space the temperatures of the planet.

It is an increase of the temperatures of the planet, and is caused by the heat of the sun that the atmosphere retains, like glasses of a conservatory. The common gases but are the water steam and carbon dioxide.

Is clear that this effect is causing great climatic changes, very serious for the planet, but thanks to an Greenhouse effect moderate,there's Earth life.

The Green House Effect, is producing a global heating, and this, in the next century, will cause a great climatic change. The species of trees, animals etc. will be affected. There will be floods of coastal zones, extinction of species of plants and animals, droughts…

It has been tried to help, from many organizations to the planet, with the Kioto's Protocol, (thing that the U.S.A. it rejected, being he one of the countries that more damage to the atmosphere produces) and with many more things, but seems that this already is irreversible.

Xmas around the world

KENYA

In KENYA, the churches are decorated with balloons, ribbons, flowers and green plants as well as Christmas trees. Christmas dinner is often a barbecue with family members traveling from far away to be together again.

FINLAND

In FINLAND, it is a tradition to have a sauna bath before Santa's visit. On Christmas day most people go to "Christmas Church" and after visit the grave sites of their loved ones and light candles for them.


NEW ZEALAND

In New Zealand, it is the middle of summer at Christmas time. Instead of a hot drink Santa often gets a cooling beer as a snack on Christmas Eve. Christmas day families often have a picnic or go to the beach for Christmas Dinner. It is more traditional to have a cold ham than a hot turkey.

In general, Christmas in Spain is based more on a religious theme than in many other places.

In Spain, every town and city will decorate the streets. Christmas markets also begin to appear.

The most important day in Spain, is the 6th January or Three Kings Day (Los Reyes). Three kings leave presents to children.
Every town will have a "belen", it's a small representation of Jesus' birth.

Other important day is the drawing of lottery, which is drawn on 22nd of December.

On the night of 5th January we have a procession where tons of sweets will be thrown from the passing floats, much to the joy of the children.

On the 6th January (Los Reyes Day), a special cake is made and sold all over Spain. Rosca de Reyes is a ring pastry covered in sugar and fruit flavoured jellies. On biting, beware, the cake will contain plastic toys as presents.

The illtreat

I believe that it is a form that the persons have, "to demonstrate" forts that are. But for me, they demonstrate everything opposite.When a man ill-treats a woman, only it demonstrates the little person that it is, the weak thing that is, thinking that like that someone will respect him.Senseless, machist, sexist.

Every time, the couples who suffer mistreatment are younger.It is SHAMEFUL that a person could manage to ill-treat other one.

I believe that the persons, if it is possible to call them this way, have a serious problem.

These people, also end up by ill-treating his children.The children end up by seeing the mistreatment to which they submit hismothers, in some cases it is on the contrary but in very small.I believe that this society, should put of his part to solve this problem, that every year, one is taking more lives.

This year the project is An Eurobat. We are preparing everything for us for the Eurpo Comite.East consists of every college that takes part a performance, interpretation to be prepared ... something to show the others, we are preparing a cumbia, in classes of music for the present time we are dedicating them to preparing ourselves..!

I have many desires from which the trip comes.Now in music we are preparing the performance to take her here.

Prision break..

Chapter* of Prision break of this Thursday it was not one of the better like the series A LOT, I liked this equally. This was trying of that one like already in other chapters, they try to continue with the plan to escape, but this time does not go to them well the game. The music exists since the world is a world and does million years they were using it already as way of expression... From the prehistoric men until today...By means of the music therapies can be done... Even the animals seem to understand it...MUSIC IS LIFE ..!! =D

It is a short enough book, enough good is. I would recommend it to the persons to whom the Englishman not they of very well.

This book is easy enough to read and is read rapidly. It does not have complicated vocabulary and is not done peasdo of reading.I believe that this book is enough good but for people of little Englishman's level .. (like me ..!xD)

Galicia in flames

This summer, at the beginning of August, since the previous year there started being fires in Galicia. There have burned many hectares of Galician forests, and it is said that they have been provoked. They have been about the whole Galicia. The habitants are worried, since the previous year tubieron also problems of this type, and it seems that this year they have repeated themselves. Espermos that the year that comes does not spend the same thing ... because little by little the community is deteriorating because of these fires...
